The National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) allocates initial teacher training places to ensure a sufficient supply of teachers is maintained. School Direct places are postgraduate only. They can either be fee paying or salaried, where the trainee is employed within the school partnership. We have an ITT partnership with Birmingham University and we are also a member of the KE Consortium; both rated as outstanding providers of ITT.
